Loyalty is still rewarded in this business, as evidenced at the NYC audio post house Sound Lounge.

Vicky Ferraro now reigns as Executive Producer at Sound Lounge.

The facility announced that longtime staffer Vicky Ferraro has been promoted to Executive Producer of Sound Lounge. She had previously been serving as Executive Producer of Radio and RadioFace.

According to the company, the promotion reflects increased growth for Sound Lounge, and is part of an ongoing initiative “to build leadership for managing and centralizing production efforts.”

In Ferraro’s new post, she will oversee the management and sales effort surrounding all mixing, including for TV and radio spots, digital and interactive media, and Webisodes.

    “increased growth” ? – word on the street is that Sound Lounge laid off staff and slashed salaries
