Wanduta (NYC) Launches Benefits Program For Musicians
Look into Wanduta, a new, members-only Web resource for musicians that provides benefits like affordable health insurance, discounts on gear and travel and events booking/management services.
The Wanduta mission is “to give working independent musicians everything they need for success by offering them the same opportunities and support available to other professions.”
Membership is free, and grants access to:
Health Insurance — Wanduta has partnered with a team of health insurance pros that cuts through the red tape to offer all members a unique, concierge-based affordable health care with rates starting as low as $55 per month. Wanduta Members can call the toll-free Wanduta Health Hotline and talk by phone with health insurance experts about their questions, needs and budget.
Discounts – The Wanduta PerksCard gives access to discounts from local and national vendors relevant to the needs of musicians, including Guitar Center, as well as restaurants, hotels, rental cars, drug stores, electronics, movie tickets and more.
Community — Upon joining Wanduta, Members are the exclusive benefactors of all the Company’s outward endeavors including opportunities to play live and gain management input. Wanduta has already thrown benefit concerts to raise money for musicians in need and will continue to rally around them with future efforts/events. Additionally, Wanduta seeks to advance the careers of its Members and will be recruiting exclusively within the membership base to find artists for management services.
