Lexicon Omega Bundle: A Desktop Studio Solution for $199
Lexicon‘s new Omega Studio Desktop Recording Bundle is an integrated computer recording package that combines Lexicon’s Omega Studio USB recording interface with Steinberg Cubase LE 4, the Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plug-in, and an AKG D 88 S lead vocal microphone and mic cable.
The Omega Studio recording interface is built around a mixer paradigm. This interface is an 8-input, 4-bus, 2-output, USB I/O mixer with inserts, instrument input, MIDI I/O, and complete metering and monitoring functions with the ability to record up to 4-tracks at once.
Cubase LE 4 integrates with the Omega I/O mixer to achieve an easy-to-use 48-track complete recording solution that includes all of the modules that you need to track, edit, and mix your music.
The Omega’s compatible with other recording software as well. On Mac, the Omega uses built-in Core Audio drivers and is designed to work with all applications that are compatible with Mac OS 10.2.8 or later. On PC, the Omega works with apps that are compatible with either the WDM or ASIO mode drivers.
