Native Instruments Announces Komplete 8 and Komplete 8 Ultimate

Native Instruments is an audio software/hardware company that is well known for their one-of-a-kind products including the industry standard sampler — Kontact. NI clearly exists among the best in innovative audio software, top-notch virtual instruments and even dynamics processing software.  Out of all of the products that NI has to offer though, Komplete has always been the mecca — Komplete 7 is a huge bundle of 24 NI instruments and effects and 90GB of over 10,000 production ready sounds.

The next generation of Komplete brings a bounty of not only hugely updated software from its younger sibling, but also, never before seen effects and instruments as well as seamless integration with their Maschine Controller. The new Komplete 8 will arrive in two versions: Komplete 8 and Komplete 8 Ultimate. The difference, you ask? Komplete 8 will ship with 27 included products consisting of over 110GB and will sell for $559 / 499€ MSRP with an update from Komplete 2-7 costing $229 / 199€ MSRP.

Ultimate will ship with an external hard drive, hosting a total of 50 products including the newly introduced NI dynamics processing software — VC 2A, VC 76 and VC 160.  Ultimate tops out at 250GB and will sell for $1,099 / 999€ MSRP with an update from Komplete 2-8 costing $599 / 499€ MSRP.

    DAMNIT!!!! I just bought the 7 upgrade 3 weeks ago!!!!!!!!!! Surely there has to be a discounted upgrade window for those who only bought 7 within the last 2 months!!!
