Waves Artists (Lord-Alge, Kramer, Maserati) Host Special Sessions

If you’ll be at AES next weekend, you can catch Chris Lord-Alge, Eddie Kramer and Tony Maserati discussing and demoing their Waves plug-in collaborations. Waves will be holding this special series of behind-the-board sessions in the Music Mix Mobile “M3” truck, which will be parked at Booth #273.

The CLA Classic Compressors were developed with Chris Lord-Alge, the master-mixer who’s worked with Green Day, U2, Tina Turner, James Brown, Santana, Steve Winwood, and many others. Lord-Alge worked closely with the Waves R&D team, to develop models of four compressors considered true classics by audio engineers everywhere.
The Eddie Kramer Collection‘s five application-specific plug-ins include dedicated tools for guitar, drums, vocals, bass and effects, developed by Waves and legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, The Beatles, David Bowie, etc.)
The Tony Maserati Collection includes the Maserati VX1 Vocal Enhancer; Maserati DRM Drum Slammer; Maserati ACG Acoustic Guitar Designer; Maserati HMX Harmonics Generator; Maserati B72 Bass Phattener; and Maserati GTi Guitar Toner. Custom-built, processing chains grant users access to the same tools that Maserati has used when mixing major pop artists like Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige, David Bowie, 2Pac, John Legend, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and more.
