CMJ Music Marathon Announces Full 2013 Panel Lineup
The Rites of Fall for the music industry begin with the CMJ Music Marathon.
The 2013 edition of the multi-day event takes place from October 15-19, once again centered on New York University’s Helen and Martin Kimmel Center in the heart of Greenwich Village. In addition to the performances, panels are at the core of CMJ’s offerings, and the full lineup of music/media/tech forums – over 80 of them taking place live and in person — has just been announced.

Other event highlights include the Entertainment Business Law Seminar featuring Keynote Speaker, David Israelite, President and CEO of the National Music Publishers’ Association. Presented by CMJ and the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the seminar is held Friday October 18.
The College Radio Mixer on October 15, is a must-attend networking party for all college station personnel. Refreshments and music will be presented courtesy of the New Zealand Music Commission to get attendees all dialed in for College Day (October 17), the for-college-radio, by-college-radio program at CMJ 2013. College Day celebrates college radio’s continued influence on independent music, with a focus on providing attendees the opportunity to network with and be mentored by a multitude of industry movers and shakers.
And new this year, Serenity Now: Rock and Roll Your Soul Yoga are open for early birds who want to be guided by a top instructor in catching some zen.
