Camel Audio Launches "Shlomo Beatbox" Sample Library
Camel Audio – makers of the Alchemy sample manipulation synthesizer – have just released the unique new Shlomo Beatbox sound library.
This library combines an exclusive sample set created by British beatboxer extraordinaire Shlomo with sound design/mixing/morphing/manipulating by Camel Audio to create a unique collection of loops, kits, vocal-based instruments, and effects.
According to Camel Audio…
Shlomo Beatbox features 150 presets (each with eight variations), nearly 700MB of exclusive samples, and 156 SFZ instruments. Suited to urban, electronica, downtempo, electro, and soundtrack genres, all sounds are fully tagged for the new browser in Alchemy v1.5. Speedily search by sound designer — Arksun, biomechamoid, bManic, Andre Ettema, Himalaya, Christian Kjeldsen, Nick Moritz, Corin Neff, patchen preston, Dan Worrall… or other criteria and multiple combinations thereof.
Shlomo is World Loopstation Champion, a Grammy Award nominee, and has collaborated with artists as diverse as Bjork, Jarvis Cocker, and DJ Yoda.
Shlomo Beatbox can be securely ordered from Camel Audio’s online Shop for $59, and directly downloaded with the Alchemy Player v1.5 included — plays any Alchemy sound library or SFZ with a flexible interface — or for use with Alchemy v1.5 — the ultimate sample manipulation synthesiser (available separately for $249).
