Lil Fame & Termanology Collaborate On Fizzyology With DJ Premier, Statik Selektah and More
Rappers Lil Fame (of Brooklyn’s M.O.P.) and Termanology (of 1982 and ST Da Squad) have collaborated on a new record – Fizzyology – which comes out November 6 on ST./Brick Records.
The 15-song LP began as a Termanology solo project produced by Lil Fame (aka Fizzy Womack), but halfway through the recording – with Fame dropping verses and hooks on almost every song – they decided to release it as a collaboration album.
Reportedly…with Lil Fame handling the bulk of the production, the album has a hardcore feel that will be familiar to M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) fans, while also showcasing Fizzy’s talent as a producer with some more soulful sounds.
The album also features production by the legendary DJ Premier, plus beats by The Alchemist, Statik Selektah and J Waxx.
Busta Rhymes and Styles P also make appearances on the record, as do Bun B and Freeway.
Fizzyology tracks were recorded and mixed at Jaguar in Brooklyn, by Sir Bob Nash at Wonka Sound in Lowell, MA, by Statik Selektah at his Showoff Basement in Brooklyn, by DJ Premier and Mike 13 at Headcourterz in NYC and by Eric Hayes and Chris P at Heavy Roc in NYC.
