Sonic Union Mixes Ira Glass, Mike Birbiglia “Sleepwalk with Me” Film Promo

The film, from co-director/co-writer Mike Birbiglia and co-writer Ira Glass (“This American Life”), opens in New York City on August 24th through IFC Films. The truly entertaining online promo was mixed here in NYC at Sonic Union, by mixer David Papa.
In the promo, Glass and Birbiglia go to extra lengths to entice audiences out to the all-important opening weekend: They vow to personally attend the screenings, as well as handling every aspect of the high-stakes event, including concession sales and bathroom cleaning to a post-screening Q&A that, rest assured, will make the movie itself pale in comparison.
“Sleepwalk with Me” opens at the IFC Center in NYC the weekend of August 24-25, at Chicago’s Music Box Theater on the weekend of August 31 – September 1. This cinematic tour de force follows Birbiglia as a burgeoning stand-up comedian struggling with the stress of a stalled career, a stale relationship, and the wild bouts of severe sleepwalking he is desperate to ignore.
