There’s a positive force afoot in New Jersey called The Project Matters. A non-profit 501(c)3 based in the beautiful town of Freehold, The Project Matters (TPM) has a musical mission which helps young New Jersey artists with the purchase of instruments, music and video production and other musical expenses including touring costs.

The NJ-based nonprofit TPM needs YOU on August 10th.

Led by Executive Director Karen High, TPM also provide music instruction, legal assistance, artist consulting expertise and emotional support. At The Project Matters, our mission is to empower, enable and encourage musicians to attain their creative potential.

On August 10th, you can support TPM and enjoy the heck out of yourself by attending their 2nd Annual Benefit Concert, which will be sponsored by Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ and headlined by none other than Cymbals Eat Guitars. The show will also feature Mitchell Grey and The Project Matters-supported artists Justin & Alina and Thomas Wesley Stern — all in an effort to raise funds for young musicians needing assistance with their music endeavors.

Also on August 10th, TPM will be conducting its first telethon. To give the crew of volunteers a heads up that you want to donate or otherwise be a part of this unique fundraiser, send your contact info to karen@theprojectmatters.org,

Best of luck to TPM!
