An annual event held in NYC, this year’s Caribbean Cultural Music Conference will take place in Manhattan on September 22-23.

The daytime events at the Carribean Cultural Conference are free and open to the public.

The festival, produced by the Caribbean American Cultural Caucus brings together entertainment industry stakeholders to explore and examine the obstacles confronting the advancement of the Caribbean entertainment industry.

Strategies that will positively affect issues related to production, management, intellectual property, distribution and marketing of the Caribbean entertainment product are at the conference’s forefront.

In addition to two days of informative panels – which are free for the public to attend — held at the Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, NYC, the conference will also be holding festive happenings throughout the city, starting with the opening networking event the evening of 9/21.

SonicScoop Founder/Editor David Weiss will be a panelist on the “Navigating the New Music Business” discussion, taking place Friday, 9/23 at 10:30 AM.
