Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center is now accepting class registrations for Judy Dunaway’s Audio Master Class for Beginners, being held on Saturday August 27th (full details below).

Beginners can get hip to basic audio concepts at the next Harvestworks master class.

The one-day course will help students to understand the concepts and parameters of digital audio workstations (DAW), as well as help them to recognize subtle differences in various audio phenomena. According to Harvestworks, “If you are just starting out with GarageBand, Reason, Pro Tools, or any other sound program, you may be wondering how sound really works and what all these settings in your program mean. This friendly, experienced and helpful teacher will make sound concepts and terminology clear and understandable.”

Harvestworks will continue their Audio series in September with more workshops about recording techniques led by Omid Bürgin, plus multichannel and surround workshops by Paul Howells. Visit Harvestworks and sign up their newsletter to keep informed on dates and other new offerings.
