Steinberg Announces HALion 4 VST Sampler
If you don’t already know, Steinberg is the name behind the massive amount of audio recording platforms including the popular Cubase and Nuendo DAWs. Steinberg also produces an array of VST instruments and plug-ins with their latest being the successor to HALion 3 – HALion 4.
The idea behind HALion 4, according to Steinberg is “more than a professional VST sampler. The fourth incarnation of HALion combines a state-of-the-art sample engine with an award-winning synth section and future-proof tools and effects. With a cornucopia of inspiring features and an ultra-flexible user interface, HALion 4 is a truly universal workhorse for professional sound designers, producers and musicians alike.”
HALion 4 is now shipping in Europe for €349 / £295 MSRP and current owners of HALion 3 and HALion Sonic will be able to upgrade for €99.99 / £84.70 MSRP.
