Rock Ridge Music (NJ) Signs Alicia Witt to Music Management Deal
Rock Ridge Music, a Newark, NJ-based entertainment services company, announced that it has signed singer-songwriter-actor Alicia Witt to a deal to manage her music career.
Witt joins artists such as Sister Hazel, Tony Lucca, Ernie Halter, Ingram Hill, Matt Duke, The Revere, Benjy Davis Project and others on the Rock Ridge Music management client roster.
A classically trained pianist and accomplished singer-songwriter, Witt has played piano since the age of seven, and competed both nationally and internationally on piano for a number of years prior to starting her acting career.
Witt’s recently released self-titled EP is available on iTunes, and her first music video for the single “Anyway” has received play on MTVu and VH1.com. She also appeared as a musical guest on the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” in 2010.
She is currently working on her next album and just released another single, “Me Or New York,” which is also available on iTunes.
Witt’s work as an actor on shows includes appearances on “Friday Night Lights,” “Law & Order,” “The Sopranos” and “Cybill,” and the films “88 Minutes,” “Two Weeks Notice,” “Last Holiday” and “Mr. Holland’s Opus”. In addition, Witt appears in the forthcoming “Joint Body” (with Mark Pellegrino) which recently premiered at the Newport Beach Film Fest and the film “The Boarding House” (with Nick Stahl). She is currently filming “Cowgirls n Angels” with James Cromwell in Oklahoma.
