Just a few months since expanding its Entertainment Division, NYC’s Sound Lounge has been tapped for audio post production on a number of films, including several that will be screening at the Tribeca Film Festival this week.

In 2010, Sound Lounge unveiled a brand-new ADR stage, 10 edit suites, and production space spanning an additional 5,000 square feet.

Screening at the Tribeca Film Festival this week: "In the Spirit of Laxmi" was sound edited by Sound Lounge Hudson's Peter Buccellato and mixed by Justin Matley

Film credits since then include the Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro thriller, Limitless, several Sundance-premiering films such as Magic Trip: Ken Kesey’s Search for a Kool Place – by Academy Award-winning Filmmaker Alex Gibney – Another Earth, and the Oscar nominated feature film, Blue Valentine (ADR and final mix).

The work screening at the Tribeca Film Festival includes: Magic Valley – mixed by Sound Lounge’s Tony Volante and Cory Melious with Assistant Re-Recording mix by Steve Giammaria; In the Spirit of Laxmi – sound edited by Sound Lounge Hudson’s Peter Buccellato and mixed by Justin Matley; and Semper Fi: Always Faithful and Catching Hell – both mixed by Volante.

Current projects for the long-form division of Sound Lounge include the fourth season of Damages for Direct TV and the Joel Schumacher feature, Trespass.
