A new NYC rock band known as Make Out — featuring Jesper Mortensen of the now-defunct Danish dance-pop group Junior Senior and singer Leah Hennessey — will release its debut EP, How To, in February.

The "How To" Make Out EP, out next month.

Recorded with producer Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors) at Rare Book Room Studios in Greenpoint, How To merges Mortensen’s pop chops with Hennessey’s punk and glam-rock sensibilities to deliver danceable, downtown rock anthems like the recently released single, “I Don’t Want Anybody That Wants Me.”

It’s worth noting that Hennessey’s stepfather is David Johansen of the New York Dolls. (rock-n roll!) And Anders Christiansen and Olivia Alminiana bring the bass and drums, respectively.
