Pirate NY Composes Original Music for VH1
Working with VH1, Pirate NY composer Ben Sharony recently created an original score for a :30 promo of the network’s Sunday night lineup, known as “The Night.”
Sunday is the Night, which ran in MTV’s pre-VMA show and continues to see play, is a montage of The Night’s three featured reality shows: Real & Chance – The Legend Hunters, La La’s Full Court Wedding, and Fantasia for Real: Season 2.
As footage flashes past — of Real and Chance, Vazquez, and Barrino — Sharony’s music strikes across the background, helping to evoke the drama, joy, excitement and suspense portrayed in the clips.
