A very different type of string quintet, SYBARITE5 will be performing tonight, June 4th, at Galapagos Artspace, at 10:30 PM.

A group of classically trained musicians with a penchant for setting Radiohead, Stravinksy, and Led Zeppelin up against each other, the NYC group puts an intensely modern spin on their craft. After seeing violinist Sarah Whitney’s contributions to a recent live string remix by DJ Spooky at Lincoln Center, we’re excited to see what the whole group can do.
