DJ Shakey, one of the founders of NYC’s Warper Party series, also curates a series of record fair/parties, the next of which is coming up this Sunday night (5/9) at Public Assembly in Williamsburg.
“Dig, drink and dance” from 7PM – 2AM.
Sponsored by Wax Poetics, Dubspot, Turntable Lab and Cine Noir Film Society, Shakey’s Record Fair will feature two rooms of records for sale by invitation-only dealers, digger DJs spinning rarities all night, and silk-screening while you wait by Bushwick Print Labs (BYO shirt, record bag, slip mats or buy blank tee’s for $5).
