Sample Logic’s Acoustix for Live Now Available
Sample Logic — a NY-based developer of software sampler and virtual instruments — has released Acoustix, a new toolkit of morphed acoustic instruments, percussives, atmospheric soundscapes, pads and tempo-synced audio loops for cinematic music production.
Billed as “never-before-heard evocative organic instruments and bombastic loops,” Sample Logic’s Acoustix integrates seamlessly into Ableton Live. Each instrument uses Live’s Rack format, with the 8 Macro Controls mapped for immediate tweakability.
All of the instruments and loops are ready to be mapped to a hardware controller or automated directly in Live.
FX and parameters such as Attack & Release, Reverb, Filter Delay, Arpeggiator, Filter Cutoff & Resonance and more make sound sculpting each instrument intuitive and easy. All clips and presets are also “production-ready,” custom tailored and mastered using Live’s audio effects
Acoustix works exclusively with Ableton Suite 8, Live 8 or Live Intro and is available only as a direct download ($99). But it HERE.
Acoustix contains:
– 200 instrument racks of various styles ranging from ambience, impacts, transition effects, kits, melodic and arped multi sampled instruments, and multi layered ensembles.
– 63 tempo synced rhythmic loops provided as both audio and MIDI clip formats.
– 14 construction kits (multiple instruments and clips preselected record enabled and ready to be launched, played, and performed)
– Live demo songs that show Acoustix in action and can be manipulated, performed, and re-arranged.
Sample Logic also makes Morphestra, reviewed by NYC composer Joel Douek HERE on SonicScoop.
