The 5th annual Music Against Myeloma benefit will be held this Thursday (4/22) from 7-10pm at BLVD on Bowery.
The event will feature musical guests Eclectic Method, Canon Logic, and Natalie Gelman, as well as drink specials and gift bags.
Music Against Myeloma was started by Slava Rubin (founder of IndieGoGo) five years ago in memory of his father, who died at age 43 of myeloma – a rare form of cancer which attacks blood-producing cells in the bone marrow. With the events Rubin hopes to raise awareness and funds to fight myeloma.
All proceeds from Thursday’s event will go to the International Myeloma Foundation.
Tickets for the event are $50 in advance or $60 dollars at the door.
