Up Your Social Media Game at #140conf NYC
The #140conf is coming to the 92nd Street Y. The 140 Conferences (140 = Twitter character limit) gather people interested in the effects of real-time Internet on business and media. #140conf NYC will take place on April 20-21, 2010. Find out more about the event and register HERE.
The format at the #140conf events is modeled after the quick-hit nature of Twitter: individual talks are 5 and 10 minutes, keynotes are 15 and 20 minutes and panel discussions take place in 20 minutes or less.
Over the two-day conference, more than 140 people will share the stage at the 92nd Street Y in about 70 sessions. According to conference founder Jeff Pulver, #140conf NYC will be taking a hard look at “The State of NOW,” and the effects of social communication platforms on a number of industries, including Music, Advertising, The Media, Television and more.
Speakers will include Jim Jones, MC Hammer, Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram of NYC’s WRXP, Ryan Leslie, Xavier Jernigan of Universal Motown; leaders of social media platforms like Ustream.tv and Four Square; and social media gurus from the advertising, fashion, publishing and television industries.
