Joe D’Ambrosio Management’s (NYC) Dru Castro was the co-producer of India.Arie and Dobet Gnahore’s “Pearls,” which won the Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative Performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, held this past Sunday.
As Producer/Writer/Mixer/Remixer, Castro was also behind Arie’s Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, which was nominated for Best R&B Album, and her song “Chocolate High,” featuring Musiq Soulchild, which was nominated for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.
