CMJ's Global Hip-Hop Throw-Down To Showcase MCs From Israel, Holland, Spain, Croatia
Post AES, we’re resting up for non-stop shows at CMJ next week! One we’re looking forward to…the Global Hip-Hop Throw-Down, co-produced by Nomadic Wax and The Bloom Effect, happening next Thursday, October 22 at the 92YTribeca.
Blitz the Ambassador will host the Global Hip-Hop Throwdown next Thurs, Oct. 22, during CMJ.
The Global Hip-Hop Throw-Down will unite lyricists, DJs and visual artists from The Netherlands, the Middle East, Canada, Europe, and North Africa.
Hosted by Blitz the Ambassador (Ghana), the event goes from 7 PM – 3 AM and will feature rising starts such as Coolooloosh (Israel), La Melodia (Holland), Nomadic Massive (Canada/Haiti), At Versaris (Spain) and Alfaress (Morocco), as well as DJ Boo (Philippines/US) and DJ Phat Phillie (Croatia) who will be spinning international hip-hop music.
The event will end with a freestyle session/Global Jam, featuring some surprise special guests.
This years event will be sponsored by WNYE (New York Public Radio), Fusicology, World Hip-Hop Market, Myxer, End of the Weak, Popular Printing, Hip Hop Loves, MVMT and others.
