AES Enters Day Two: Go for the Gear, Stay for the People
Day Two of the AES Convention exhibition opened at 10 am today, special events, seminars and workshops have been going on since 9am. Don’t miss out on the presentations happening off the show floor. Click here for the full technical program.
Observations from Day One: While the exhibition space is not as large as has been in years past, foot traffic is heavier than we saw at last year’s show at SF’s Moscone, and there are a lot of great connections to be made by showing up. The higher human density can be attributed to the fact that everyone is being contained in a smaller hall, but also to our guess that most everyone who decided not to exhibit is walking the floor.
SonicScoop saw lots of great hardware and software throughout the day — we’ll post our pick hits soon! The partying was A+ fabulous at the venues we visited after the show, including bashes at Platinum Sound, Quad Recording Studios, and Flux downtown. Beatiful people pics to come.
