ReverbNation & Audiolife To Launch E-Commerce Solution for Artists and Labels

ReverbNation (NYC) and Audiolife are about to roll out their new direct-to-fan eCommerce solution, the Reverb Store.

To ReverbNation’s base of 450,000 artists, labels, managers and venues, the Reverb Store will be an additional feature available at no charge, allowing them to design an unlimited number of physical and digital products online and sell them having to purchase the inventory up front.

The products — CDs, ringtones, downloads, merchandise — are produced on-demand when they are ordered and delivered straight to the fan.

Currently in private Beta, the Reverb Store will be publicly accessible at ReverbNation.com in October ‘09.

Artists will be able to open a store, customized with their own background, photos, graphics, etc., create as many custom items as they want, and operate the store for free, with no monthly minimums or fees.

If artists want to place a large order to take merch out on tour, they’ll be able to do so through their own Reverb Store at competitive wholesale and bulk prices.
