The website features over 1,500 guitar teacher profiles, which list individual’s specialty musical styles, guitar-related skills and instruments taught, teaching approach, gear used, fees and contact info. Photos and YouTube video also showcase the teachers’ expertise and style.
Here’s the listing I found when I searched for teachers in my region (Brooklyn).

September 23, 2009 at 7:45 am (15 years ago)Often people find it difficult to play the guitar simply because they’re holding it incorrectly, and forming a habit that’s difficult to break later on. If you’re standing, the guitar should be in a comfortable position, but secure enough that it won’t fall. If you’re sitting, you should be in an area large enough so that the guitar doesn’t knock into anything.
