Guadalajara-to-NYC transplants Sweet Electra are holding their album release party this Sunday, September 13th, at Joe’s Pub. The new disc, When We Abandoned Earth, is an entrancing, bilingual foray into trip hop, electronica and indie rock.
The production of the album is an all-NYC affair. Vocalist Nardiz Cooke and guitarist/programmer Giovanni Escalera recorded all tracks at Razorhead Music Studios, and mastered at Zampol Productions with Oscar Zambrano.
