Digidesign Venue Roadshow Coming to NYC
This fall, Avid’s taking its Digidesign Venue SC48 on the road to demo the latest of the Venue live sound consoles in cities nationwide. The Venue tour stops at SIR in NYC over the weekend of the AES Convention, October 9-10.

At this upcoming event — “VENUE: A Revolution in Live Sound” — live sound engineer and Digidesign market manager Robert Scovill (Tom Petty, Rush, Prince, Def Leppard) will lead a two-hour-long training session on the Venue SC48, a highly-portable, all-in-one system developed for touring companies, clubs, small to mid-sized houses of worship and corporate A/V companies.
Scovill will also go over the features and workflows of the entire Venue family of live sound consoles in his presentation, and field questions from attendees.
“VENUE: Revolution in Live Sound” will be held at SIR Stage 37 on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10, 2009, from 11am – 3:30 pm. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
